Musical Transcription - Contemporary Jazz
This project, created in Adobe Illustrator, is a visual, real-time translation of a musical piece by the contemporary band 3 Leg Torso. The black and white color scheme is meant to echo musical notation, while the warped complexity is meant to portray a sense of complicated unity that stems from the seemingly-improvised musical progressions that change in tone throughout the piece.
